In 2008 Judy visited some schools in Adelaide to see how they had changed their school culture through the introduction of Choice Theory. Her paper Developing a Positive Quality School  written about this visit was presented in the WGI-NZ newsletter in September 2009

Carol Glover
Treasurer
treasurer@glassernz.org.nz

Carol was first introduced to the work of Dr Glasser, specifically Choice Theory and reality theory, while working as a full time new entrant teacher at Wilford School.  Throughout her teaching career she has attended many training courses, but none have had such a profound effect on her, as this course had.  It changed the way in which she taught and interacted with children; the ways in which she interacted with others, as well as encouraging her to take stock of her life.  She was also lucky enough to be given the opportunity to undertake her practicum - which consolidated her learning from the Basic Week Intensive Training.  Carol now works part-time as a relief teacher and has a sound and happy work/life balance.

She is married to Steve and has three busy sons - Lui (20yrs), George (14yrs) and Jake (12yrs).  Her interests include travel, socialising, walking and decorating.

Barbara Hay

Barbara is keen to extend understanding and use of Glasser’s work to the wider community, in the hope of effecting positive change beyond the school gates, and is happy to help groups and individuals organise training programmes.

She then moved to London for 3 years and completed Certification while attending the 2005 Dublin Glasser Conference.
